Before you make your appointment
- There is a non-refundable $25 deposit required to make an appointment. Please ensure you read through all the information on this web page before booking an appointment.
- We offer spay/neuter surgeries for dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens to qualifying low-income individuals only. Due to their higher risk of anesthetic complications, we are no longer offering surgeries for brachycephalic breeds (short-nosed/flat-faced dogs such as French Bulldogs, English Bulldogs, Pugs, Persian cats, etc.) or dogs over 10 years of age. See the household income chart below, and if you qualify, proceed with making your appointment. We do not offer surgeries for rescue groups.
- Review the fees to be sure you can cover the cost of the services. We do not accept spay/neuter vouchers and only accept credit, debit, or cash (no checks).
- Please note: we are located in Lynnwood, Washington—approximately 20 miles north of Seattle. You must be able to provide your own transportation.

Appointments are required and are available on Wednesdays. Occasionally other weekday appointments may be available and will be reflected on the calendar. Please read through our policies and procedures before making an appointment. After ensuring that you qualify, use the following link to make an appointment. You will receive an email once your appointment has been approved. If there are no available appointments, please check back at a later date. Do not misrepresent the size or sex of your animal to get an appointment. This may result in forfeiture of your appointment and/or deposit.
Unfortunately, we do not keep a waiting list or schedule appointments over the phone. There is a high demand for low-cost surgery services; we appreciate your patience.
Deposits: There is a $25 non-refundable deposit required to make an appointment. This will go towards your total surgery cost on the day of your appointment. If you cancel or miss your appointment, the deposit will not be refunded.
Once your appointment is confirmed, review the before-surgery instructions on this page so your pet and you are prepared. Filling out your surgery consent form before your arrival at PAWS will speed up the check-in process.
